Tuesday, 6 February 2024
The Punjab and Haryana High Court allowed a tailor who was reportedly arrested in a bogus narcotics case to send CCTV footage from outside his store directly to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), in one of the most embarrassing incidents for the Punjab Police. Babu Khan claimed he was framed after he asked some local cops to clear dues for stitching their uniforms.
