Bengaluru teen wins $400k prize in contest founded by tech czars

Sia Godika, a 17-year-old Bengaluru girl, has won the $400,000 Breakthrough Junior Challenge 2023 international science-video competition. Entitled "Oscars of Science," the contest is an offshoot of the $3 million Breakthrough Prize Foundation, which is the main prize and is intended to stimulate innovative thinking and communication abilities around basic principles in mathematics, physics, and the life sciences.
