Sharad Pawar bloc allotted 'NCP-SCP' name for RS polls

After losing the NCP name and symbol, the Sharad Pawar bloc has been allowed by the Election Commission to use the name 'Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar' for the upcoming RS polls in Maharashtra. The group's preference for the name was approved for the purpose of the biennial polls to six RS seats.
