Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA loses Rs 40 lakh in insurance ‘fraud’

Former minister and current Samajwadi Party MLA from Unchahar, Manoj Pandey, has been duped of lakhs of rupees in an insurance fraud. He filed an FIR against the manager of a nationalized bank who sold him a life insurance policy with false promises. The manager has been charged with cheating, forgery, and dishonesty.
