UCC rushed to gain political advantage, will lead to litigation: AIMPLB

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has voiced its opposition to the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Law passed by the Uttarakhand Assembly. The board has deemed the law as "unnecessary and an affront to the unity in diversity of the country". Furthermore, AIMPLB has expressed its intention to explore all legal avenues to challenge the legislation, contending that it has been hastily enacted for political gain.
