Ahead of CAA, TMC nominates Matua representative to Rajya Sabha

Trinamool Congress on Sunday nominated Matua community representative Mamata Bala Thakur, journalist Sagarika Ghose and party insider Sushmita Dev as Rajya Sabha replacements for Santanu Sen, Abir Ranjan Biswas and Subhasis Chakraborty, with only Nadimul Haque retaining his seat.
