Jayant Chaudhary confirms RLD switch to NDA, deals opposition alliance a body blow
Monday, 12 February 2024 RLD head Jayant Chaudhary said that his party will join the BJP-led NDA, claiming that the decision was unanimous. Chaudhary stated that the meetings with MLAs and workers occurred after his grandfather, Chaudhary Charan Singh, was recently awarded the Bharat Ratna. "If someone is reporting that, I don't think they have talked to the MLAs. I talked to MLAs and workers and made a decision," Chaudhary said.
