Security forces seize weapons in Churachandpur

A joint security team of Assam Rifles (AR) and Manipur Police on Saturday confiscated a large cache of arms and ammunition and "war-like stores" during a search operation in Churachandpur district's Sangaikot area, the paramilitary force said on Monday. The seized arms include two 9mm pistols with magazines, tear gas, six single-barrel rifles and four improvised heavy mortars.
