Mangaluru teacher suspended over alleged remarks against Hindu gods

A teacher, Sr Prabha, was suspended from St Gerosa English Higher Primary School in Mangaluru after making derogatory remarks about Hindu gods and PM Modi during a Moral Science lesson. Parents and students accused her of hurting religious sentiments. MLA Y Bharath Shetty demanded action against the teacher and called for a boycott of schools spreading anti-Hindu sentiments.
