IAF trainer aircraft crashes during training exercise in West Bengal, pilots eject safely
Tuesday, 13 February 2024 A Hawk trainer aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed during a training exercise in Kalaikunda, West Bengal. Both pilots managed to eject safely and there were no casualties or damage to civilian property reported. A court of inquiry has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident.
The Indian Air Force deployed its MI 17 V5 helicopter on Saturday (April 27) to combat the forest fires ravaging the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, as confirmed by the stateβs Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami.
