Senior Bachchan couple own assets worth Rs 1,578 crore

Jaya Amitabh Bachchan is scheduled to compete for a fifth term as Samajwadi Party MP in Rajya Sabha representing 'aadhi abadi'. She and her husband own Rs 1,578 crore collectively. Jaya owns Rs 40.97 crore worth jewelry and one sedan for Rs 9.82 lakh, Amitabh owns Rs 54.77 crore worth jewelry and 16 vehicles for Rs 17.66 crore including two Mercedes and Range Rover.
