An NRI medical professional, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar has swung into action to contest from Guntur Lok Sabha constituency as TDP nominee. With sitting MP from Guntur and business tycoon Galla Jayadev decided to keep away from politics, TDP decided to field financially strong Chandrasekhar from one of its strongholds. Dr Chandrasekhar was initially tipped to be the candidate from Narasaraopet Lok Sabha constituency.
