Blast at government event in Chitrakoot kills 4

During preparations for a fireworks display at Bundelkhand Gaurav Mahotsav in Chitrakoot, a massive blast caused by a fire, possibly due to a short circuit, killed four minors and injured several others. UP CM Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and announced financial assistance. The deceased were identified as Ajneya Mishra (11), Prabhat Patel (10), Paras Sharma (12) and Mohit Kumar (14).
