HC directs Haryana not to entertain Sirsa dera chief's parole plea without its nod

The Punjab and Haryana high court has directed the Haryana government not to entertain any parole applications from the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim without court permission. The Manohar Lal Khattar government has faced criticism for being lenient towards the controversial preacher by frequently releasing him on parole.
