BJP eyes options in Badaun against SP veteran Shivpal

The BJP is considering BL Verma, Durvijay Singh Shakya, and Ashutosh Maurya for the Badaun ticket. Sanghmitra Maurya's favor in the BJP has decreased due to her father's defection to the SP camp. The BJP is uncertain about her ability to stand up to Shivpal Singh Yadav's stature.
