Hypertension prevalent in dogs, says Telangana study

A recent study conducted by PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University in Hyderabad revealed that hypertension is prevalent in pet dogs, especially those aged 6-8 years and 12 years and older. Dogs with secondary hypertension exhibited clinical signs of underlying diseases. Successful treatment of hypertension in pets can prevent or minimize target organ damage.
