Madras high court grants permission for PM Modi's Coimbatore roadshow

The Madras high court on Friday granted permission for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Coimbatore roadshow scheduled for March 18. Justice N Anand Venkatesh has instructed the Coimbatore Police to allow a 4-kilometer roadshow during PM Modi's visit with certain conditions. Earlier today, Tamil Nadu police denied permission to the roadshow citing security reasons. Following which, the BJP state unit moved the Madras high court seeking permission for the same.
