Government bans JKLF (Yasin Malik faction), JK Peoples Freedom League

Ministry of Home Affairs banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League for 5 years, along with four factions of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, due to involvement in terrorism and secessionism.
