Baghel named in Mahadev app FIR; political vendetta: Ex-CM
Sunday, 17 March 2024 The Chhattisgarh Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has included former CM Bhupesh Baghel in an FIR related to the alleged Rs 6,000-crore Mahadev Book online betting scam. The FIR, filed on March 4 based on an ED complaint, came to light after Lok Sabha elections were announced. EOW remained tight-lipped but a copy of the FIR shows that the case has been registered under IPC.
Vijayawada is facing one of its worst flooding crises as heavy rainfall and swollen rivulets have led to severe inundation in the city.
