Baghel named in Mahadev app FIR; political vendetta: Ex-CM

IndiaTimes Sunday, 17 March 2024
The Chhattisgarh Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has included former CM Bhupesh Baghel in an FIR related to the alleged Rs 6,000-crore Mahadev Book online betting scam. The FIR, filed on March 4 based on an ED complaint, came to light after Lok Sabha elections were announced. EOW remained tight-lipped but a copy of the FIR shows that the case has been registered under IPC.
