SC stays HC order nullifying election of Odisha Congress MLA

The Supreme Court has granted a stay on the Orissa High Court's decision to nullify Congress MLA Mohammed Moquim's election. The HC had cancelled his election citing suppression of criminal cases against him and deemed his affidavit invalid due to lack of proper verification by the returning officer. Seeking relief, Moquim swiftly approached the SC through his advocate Mithu Jai to halt the HC's order.
