After 3-week trial, 18 months’ jail for priest who molested Swede

In a swift judicial process, the trial of the alleged molestation case involving a Swedish national in Bhubaneswar concluded within just three weeks. The court sentenced Kundan Mahapatra to 18 months of imprisonment on Monday, as per Debabrata Mohapatra's report. This marks the fastest trial in Odisha, where justice was served within 28 days of the crime, as confirmed by the commissionerate police.
