Hathras ‘conspiracy’: Another accused gets bail in UAPA case

Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court has granted bail to student leader Masood in connection with the 2020 Hathras gangrape case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Masood, along with journalist Siddique Kappan and four others, were accused of inciting unrest post the gangrape incident. The bench cited the SC's previous bail grant to Kappan and bail to four other co-accused by the high court.
