Arvind Kejriwal moves Delhi HC challenging his arrest, remand order
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to contest his recent arrest and the remand order issued by the trial court on March 22. As per his legal team, the petition submitted to the Delhi High Court contends that both the arrest and the ensuing remand order lack legality. It asserts that Kejriwal should be freed from detention without delay and requests an urgent hearing before the acting Chief Justice, preferably scheduled by Sunday, March 24th.
