Security guard dies in hit-n-run at sea link, woman driver tracked down and arrested
Monday, 25 March 2024 A security guard, deployed at a construction site of the Bandra-Versova Sea Link, died on Friday after a speeding car hit him. According to a witness, the impact was so severe that Ramesh Gutukade, 45, was thrown nearly 50 metres away. Bandra police tracked down and arrested the accused driver, Worli resident Neelam Shorewala,65, a few hours after she fled the spot near Nityanand Nagar. Police have towed the car to the police station.
The Mumbai Police has released CCTV footage of the suspect involved in the shocking attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence. The suspect, captured on camera in the building's stairwell, was seen carrying a backpack and wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and an orange scarf. The attack, which left Saif with injuries to his hand, neck, and spine, reportedly occurred during an attempted robbery. Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan, where emergency surgery was performed. The actor is now stable and recovering. The footage, along with statements from the actor's household staff, provides crucial evidence as the police intensify their investigation.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times during a burglary attempt at his Bandra West residence late Wednesday night. The assailant, who broke into the actorβs home at 2:30 AM, injured Saif while he intervened in a heated argument between the intruder and a staff member. Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery for severe injuries. Kareena Kapoor Khan remains by his side, while their sons, Taimur and Jeh, are safe. Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the attacker.
