Congress said it has always believed that there is no space for such language in public discourse and the matter should end with Shrinate clearing the air. NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma, in a letter to CEC Rajiv Kumar, referred to the remarks as "derogatory and outrageous to dignity of a woman".
