On Wednesday, BJP MP Dilip Ghosh issued an apology in response to his recent remarks about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Ghosh's apology came after the BJP sought clarification about a video clip in which he seemed to ridicule Banerjee's family background. The video, shared by the TMC captures Ghosh making comments about Banerjee's habit of identifying herself as a daughter of the states she visits.
