UK court allows sale of fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi's luxury London flat
A London high court ruled on Wednesday that a luxury apartment linked to Nirav Modi, held in a trust, can be sold for no less than GBP 5.25 million. Judge Master James Brightwell, overseeing the remote hearing attended by the fugitive diamond merchant from Thameside prison, accepted the Enforcement Directorate's request to secure the proceeds from the sale in an account post-settlement of trust liabilities.
