National highways construction touched 34 km per day in 2023-24

In the fiscal year 2023-24, the construction of national highways (NH) extended to approximately 12,300 kilometers, averaging about 34 kilometers per day. This achievement marks the second-highest rate of NH construction in the nation's history. The highest recorded thus far was in 2020-21, with construction reaching 13,327 kilometers at a pace of 36.5 kilometers per day.
