Gangster shot dead in encounter with police in Kathua, injured police officer succumbs to injuries

A gangster was killed in an encounter near GMC Kathua. PSI Deepak Sharma who got injured while firing shots on a gangster, succumbed to head injuries. LG Manoj Sinha vowed to avenge the martyr's blood. DGP praised PSI Sharma's sacrifice and said that his sacrifice will forever be remembered by the nation and particularly by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
