Expelled Sanjay Nirupam lashes out at 'promptness' of Congress party

Former Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam faced expulsion from the party due to alleged "indiscipline" and "anti-party statements," following the party's decision to relinquish the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha seat to Uddhav Thackeray's party. Nirupam criticised the party's swiftness, noting that he was suspended immediately after his resignation. Nirpuam said the decision of the Shiv Sena to field candidates in Mumbai was meant to marginalise Congress.
