Mukhtar’s son seeks nod to attend ‘fatiha’, SC issues notice to UP government

The Supreme Court will review the plea of jailed UP MLA Abbas Ansari, seeking to attend a special prayer ritual for his late father Mukhtar Ansari on April 10. Ansari's initial request for his father's last rites was delayed. The court issued a notice to the UP government for their response.

In a devastating road accident today, at least 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured after the bus they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh.
