Not everyone making claims on social media can be jailed: SC
Observing that not everyone who makes claims on social media may be imprisoned, the Supreme Court on Monday reinstated the bail of YouTuber 'Sattai' Durai Murugan, who was charged with uttering insulting remarks about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin in 2021. However, Murugan remained on bail as top court had stayed HC order which has now been set aside.
