Sikkim CM P S Tamang contesting from two seats, including old bastion Soreng-Chakung

Sikkim chief minister and SKM leader Prem Singh Tamang is now running for two assembly seats - Soreng-Chakung and Rhenock, shifting from his previous win in the Poklok-Kamrang constituency in 2019. Tamang is counting on his government's welfare initiatives, such as providing free LPG cylinders to all households every quarter, offering a yearly cash transfer of Rs 40,000 to women heading families through the 'Aamaa Yojana'.
