EC revises poll date for MP Lok Sabha constituency Betul after BSP candidate's death

Following the demise of the BSP candidate in the Betul (ST) parliamentary constituency of Madhya Pradesh, the Election Commission declared a new polling schedule for the seat, rescheduling the voting to May 7. Originally, the polling for Betul (ST) was slated for Phase 2 on April 26. BSP candidate from Betul (ST) Ashok Bhalavi had died of a heart attack on Tuesday.
