Vellore Lok Sabha constituency: Check polling date, candidates list, past election results
Monday, 15 April 2024 On April 19, the first phase of the election will take place, where Vellore, one of 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu, will cast its vote.
Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), outlined ten promises during a press conference, including free electricity, education, and healthcare, along with the creation of two crore jobs within a year. He also pledged full independence to the Indian Army to reclaim territory from China. Kejriwal emphasised that these guarantees would be implemented if the INDIA bloc wins power in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Additionally, he reiterated his commitment to granting full statehood to Delhi and indicated that the Agniveer scheme would be scrapped if the opposition alliance wins.
