India delivers first batch of BrahMos missile system to Philippines

India exported BrahMos missiles to the Philippines under a US$ 375 million deal, enhancing defence cooperation amid regional tensions. An Indian Air Force C-17 Globemaster jet carried the cruise missiles from India to the Philippines. It is the first instance of India exporting the BrahMos missile. The BrahMos missile travels at a speed of 2.8 Mach.
