TISS student suspended for 2 years for protest outside Parliament
Friday, 19 April 2024 Ramadas KS, a dalit student at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, faced suspension, losing his national fellowship for scheduled castes and HRA due to engaging in unlawful activities during a protest, including the Parliament March.
South Korea's impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol was arrested on January 15, 2025, after a failed martial law attempt. This historic event marks the first time a sitting president in South Korea has faced arrest. The arrest follows a tense standoff with investigators who raided the presidential residence. Yoon's attempted power grab, including directing soldiers to storm Parliament, led to charges of insurrection.
