Congress-SP wiped out in UP in first phase of Lok Sabha polls: Amit Shah

During an election rally endorsing BJP's Mathura candidate Hema Malini in Vrindavan on Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the "Congress and SP" had been "completely eliminated in the first phase" in Uttar Pradesh. "In 2017, two princes had come together... They have come together in 2024 as well, (but) BJP will win maximum seats in the state," Shah said.
