After several changes in decision, the Samajwadi Party announced on Wednesday that Akhilesh Yadav would be the party's candidate for the Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, replacing his nephew, Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, whose candidacy was previously declared on April 22.
