HP govt notifies standardised norms on packing of apples

The decision to move away from selling apples in boxes to selling them by weight was made for the 2023 season, ensuring the use of universal cartons moving forward.
During an election rally in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut, now a BJP candidate, inadvertently mixed up Tejashwi Yadav with BJP MP Tejasvi Surya while criticising the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader for "eating fish". However, it was Yadav who had previously faced criticism for a video showing him consuming fish during Navratri. The rally, held in Mandi, highlighted Ranaut's political foray in the Lok Sabha seat. In her address, she not only attacked Yadav but also accused Surya of "hooliganism" and referenced his alleged fish-eating habits.
