President Droupadi Murmu offers prayer at Ram temple in Ayodhya
Wednesday, 1 May 2024 President Droupadi Murmu on Monday offered prayers at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This was the President's first visit to the temple. Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel accompanied her during the visit. Before her visit to the Ram Mandir, the President also paid her respects at the Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya.
Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in India for a two-day state visit, receiving a personal welcome from PM Narendra Modi at the Delhi airport, breaking protocol.
