A 12-kilometer river stretch that runs alongside the villages of Lahiripur, Jamespur, Kumirmari, Choto Mollakhali, and Jharkhali in Sundarbans, West Bengal, has recently been equipped with new nylon nets. These nets aim to deter tigers that wander out of the reserve forest, preventing them from entering human settlements and causing disturbances during the polling process on June 1.
