1 IAF man dead, 4 wounded in Poonch attack

An IAF personnel died and four others were wounded Saturday evening following a gunfight that ensued when terrorists ambushed their trucks traversing a mountain road amid dense forest cover in Poonch district of J&K. The five men were evacuated to the nearest military hospital, where one of them died of his wounds. The attack prompted army and police to launch a coordinated cordon and search in the area.
