'Will not have to use force, demands to merge with India will come from PoK': Defence minister Rajnath Singh

IndiaTimes Sunday, 5 May 2024
Discussing India's position on Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (PoK), defense minister Rajnath Singh emphasized that India would not resort to force to reclaim it. He highlighted that the residents of PoK would likely lean towards becoming part of India due to the development and progress evident in Kashmir. Singh confidently stated that any future calls for integration with India might stem from within PoK itself, thereby obviating the necessity for military action.
