It promised a discount from 100 to 150 units. While 75% of households in state consume less than 100 units, another 10% consume up to 150 units. "This will also encourage responsible use of electricity," said Naveen. Under govt's Nua 'O' scholarship scheme for diploma and degree courses, girls will get Rs 14,000 per annum and boys Rs 12,000.
