65.68 per cent polling in phase 3 of Lok Sabha elections, says Election Commission

On May 7, the third phase of Lok Sabha polling in 93 constituencies yielded a 65.68% voter turnout, as per the Election Commission. Male turnout stood at 66.89%, females at 64.41%, and third-gender individuals at 25.2%. Assam recorded the highest voter turnout at 85.45%, while Goa followed with 76.06%. Bihar and UP too recorded lower voter turnout.
