Pilgrims’ rush at Char Dham leads to chaos, two lives lost

A large number of pilgrims faced challenges at Char Dham shrines in Dehradun due to overcrowding and traffic jams. Two pilgrims lost their lives, and there were protests and conflicts on the opening day of the pilgrimage season. Registration numbers for the pilgrimage have exceeded 2.3 million, with Kedarnath recording the highest registrations.
