Tuesday, 14 May 2024 India has provided $1 million in humanitarian aid to Kenya following the destructive floods in the country. Approximately 267 individuals have lost their lives, 188 have been injured, and more than 280,000 have been displaced.
In Nairobi, Kenya, police used tear gas to disperse protesters demonstrating against gender-based violence under the slogan 'Stop Feminicide'. Gender-based violence has increased, with 97 women killed since August, most of them by their partners.
