Microsoft, I4C block 1,000 Skype accounts tied to cyber criminals
Tuesday, 14 May 2024 Indian Cyber Coordination Centre and Microsoft collaborate to block over 1,000 Skype accounts linked to cyber fraud by fraudsters posing as police or government officials. Many complaints reported on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal detail how fraudsters deceive victims into sending money to resolve fake cases or digital arrests.
The Paris summit, which will be attended by companies such as Google, Microsoft and OpenAI, aims to reach a consensus on guiding the development of artificial intelligence.
