Comedian Shyam Rangeela's nomination affidavit against PM Modi from Varanasi was rejected by the Election Commission. Out of 55 candidates, 36 forms were rejected, and 15, including PM Modi and Ajay Rai, were accepted. Rangeela filed as an independent candidate. The District Magistrate cited a documents issue.
